Oh how I have missed this...

You may ask about what the hell I'm talking about now.

But I have to go back first....

After I saw Twilight in the theaters I desperately waited for the DVD release and actually I counted the days until I finally have this DVD at home and can watch Twilight whenever I want, how often I want.

I've seen New Moon twice on the big screen, once with Betti at the Germany premiere and once alone in the original version.

That's it, twice.

But truth to be told, I've seen it three or four times afterwards at home... bad quality, german.. well, you know what I mean... (Yes I know it's not right, but it was New fucking Moon!! Don't judge me..) But, this is not the same...

I pre ordered the DVD rather late, mostly due to this whole confusion about which version has how many freaking and exciting extras. But, the choice here in Germany was easy - there was only one version with about 3 hours of Extra. So I pre ordered it as a good Fan.

The DVD came April 15th and I haven't seen New Moon for MONTH! So you'd assume the Anticipation was immense - like desperately immense.

Strangely it wasn't....

Although I hear the Soundtrack nearly every day when driving to work, or I hear the audiobooks ( atm I'm hearing New Moon again..) So it's not like I suddenly lost my TwiLove, no definitely not. I don't actually know what was up with me. I just didn't feel like watching...

April 15th came and so was the DVD delivered and I .. just brought it .. home. *shrugs* I mean yes, I was happy and all and I smiled at my DVD (which is kinda weird, smiling at a DVD but, oh well ...) but I didn't even unpack it.

Weeks passed and I didn't watch it.

Until today!

I have no fucking clue what was different today but all over sudden I felt like I desperately want to watch New Moon.

And Oh boy, I did!

And I not even watch New Moon, afterwards I watched the Extras and I'm not done yet and when I finished this post I go back and watch the rest.

But you know what the best thing was? It nearly felt like the first time I saw it, and this is incredible, It was so wonderful and truly truly what I needed! I won't go into detail again about me being always so damn close to cry but New Moon makes me cry nearly the whole movie!

Yes, you can laugh bit it's still true! If I wouldn't look so bad right now, I would show you my red eyes now to prove it, so you just have to believe me,

is for me still the best scene in the whole movie. It perfectly delivers and transports the emotions needed in that moment. The song just fits perfect!!

KStew's performance was awesome, TayTay was great and won my heart with this movie and Rob was just *sighs heavily* Rob, Robward, Edward...

All I want to say, I'm out of the New Moon numbness and now I'm right back to wait desperately for Eclipse.

To be back with the story that

won my heart so entirely like no story before and

probably none that will come later.

One year ago ... or How it all begun...!

I sat here, exactly at this place (meaning at work - sitting on my Macbook) and had nothing to read anymore. No, actually it was a bit different. I just got all the Harry Potter audiobooks (unabridged!!!) and I heard them all in a row and I can tell you this was ePic! (I just talked about my obsessive behavior, this is just one more example.)

Anyway, I digress.

When I finished them, I was in a big whole desperately looking for something new, so I went to my book store (meaning amazon..) and looked out for something new. This was when I had a closer look at my recommendations and (yes you guess it) it was Twilight. Thanks to amazon I still now the exact date: March, 26th!!!

I ordered the audiobook and so it all begun ....

You might expect me now to recap the first weeks, but I'm not going to do that now.

Yesterday, I was chatting with uhyesplease and Betty on gChat (having gChat really helps me getting during the day...) and I remembered how it all started and I asked my girls how it was for them.

I became emotional and nostalgic! *sniffles*

Uhyesplease then said: "Uh no, my story is boring!" No it's not! None of your "how-I-became-twisessed" is lame, because it's your personal story. I know we all talked about over and over again, but I think this never - ever gets old!

What I'm doing now is collecting old "how everything begun" stories from the people I love and spend my Twi-Time with.

And now: I'm asking YOU!

Obsession

What a title for this post, hu?

But it fit's, wait read on and see..

This weekend I did something incredible ... uhm.. (let me find the right work)... stupid - crazy.. yes, I think cRazY fit's best. Hubs was out on Friday night, so I started watching something he'd never watch with me, he really doesn't like Fiction series of movies or stuff, so I'm on my own for this.

Do you know heroes? The TV-show? Well, I do! I've seen the first season some years ago and was hooked, like really hooked. I've also seen the second season, but then I lost track somehow. I think they showed the third season when I was busy with Twilight, so I missed it completely. Well, on Friday I thought with hubs being out, I could watch some episodes of the third season .... (some...*rolls eyes at myself*)

Ok, now starts the craziness: When I started with the first episode and then watched the second and the third, I was hooked again, and I mean really.stupid.crazy hooked.

I have seen the entire third season in one fucking weekend!!! I won't tell you how many episodes this freaking season has because this would be too... embarrassing. Just google it if you wanna know..

I stopped Friday night, woke up on Saturday made a coffee and went on where I stopped. I watched the whole day - drinking coffee, just interrupted by going to the toilet from all the coffee and having a smoke outside, but then I went on. I stopped for cooking and spending the evening with hubs (no heroes) and Sunday morning the same went on.

I simply couldn't stop!! Whenever I finished one episode I wanted to know how it's going on. I finished the season by Sunday afternoon and immediately looked out for season 4. It was just available in english, but this couldn't stop me! So I also watched the first 4 episodes from season 4.

Apart from the series itself there is this Hottie and oH.My.gOOdness. I adore him he's really cute, holy sweetness - he's hot! This might be also a point why I got so hooked, a series without a hot guy that could be admired would be... well boring...

oh boy....

Now that I admit this CrAZineSs I feel better, a bit, a tiny little bit. But I can't avoid reflecting that this is absolutely insane. Definitely insane. Moreover, this isn't the first time I did something like this - something which (when looking closer) looks like an obsession!

I think with Twilight it was worst. I spend all my freaking free time with Twilight, the books, the audiobooks - when I finished the series for the first time I started all over again. I think some of you are totally there with me, some of you did the same, right? (Please don't let me alone here) Then I got the DVD and I watched this movie like 100 times.

Twilight is one thing, like I said and hope I'm not alone here, but then there is True Blood and the Vampire Diaries and ... and!!.. AND.... and...

With True Blood I did the same, hubs was out and I watched the whole season in one weekend. The second season I followed each week on TV but then.. I watched both seasons all over again - like there was nothing else, just one.episode.after.the.other. Yep, crazy... insane... screwy..

Oh and the Vampire Diaries - you get the point here - I did the same. Maybe not as obsessed as with Twilight and True Blood. But still..

Well, and then there is the time when I read a book I really love, when starting it, I just.can't.fucking.stop! Happened a few times, take for example the Percy Jackson books. I started with one book and (thank god to my Kindle: click, buy and get it immediately) I finished one and started with the next one.

Beautiful Creatures is just one more example of this. I mean just look at my previous post, they were all more or less about this book. *heavy sigh* This book, finished in one day! Yep, one day!

When talking about books, I also need to mention Fanfics. Yes you guess right, also here my obsessive disorder takes over. Know Wide Awake? Well, this is a HuGe ( and I mean it!) fanfic and I read it in one weekend! but here I know, that there is at least one more that did the same and funnily during the same weekend! (yes fragile, I mean YOU)

I mean, this level of obsession differs from time to time. One day it's Twilight, the other day it's (let's take the latest example) heroes and it feels like being drawn into a world where I don't want to get out, like being in trance.

I would be nice that I had this obssesion about serious things like, writing my damn fucking thesis, doing sports or loosing weight - some stuff which really have a value in the end, but no... didn't happen yet...

Ok girls, please don't tell me I'm alone with this insanity.

Spoiler free! A report from a Twipure Girl!

November seems now soo far behind now, but I remember so clearly when we all have been in the "Pre - November - Is it November yet?" time and impatiently waited for the New Moon release!

I'm still not done talking about New Moon - definitely not! (You can read my outlet about Bella and TayTay) But now I'd like to talk about my Spoiler free experience and why I was so damn glad I had the strength to do it - all the way!

To clarify:

I do love all your spoiler bunnies with all I have, so don't run away! Maybe you find it also interesting what I have to say ? :)

See, I think it's different seeing spoilers from a movie when you are not head over heels about the story and when you don't know the book behind the movie by heart. I mean we all read the Twilight books probably more than once. I stopped counting after the 5th time - Yes I read all of them 5 times, New Moon even more often. Let's take Avatar for instance : Here I watch the trailer without thinking about staying spoiler free. Why? Because I don't know the whole story behind and I won't compare anything with my knowledge of the book behind (Is there a book behind, I guess not..). Apart from that I won't probably see this movie as often as I saw Twilight and will see the other Twilight movies...

Wooohoo anyway! My point is: when I watch a trailer from a Twilight movie I instantly compare it to what I know from the book. Which scene is that? Is it the meadow scene? Is it this one, or that one?

Now I come to the most important thing ever: The trailer most of the times fools you!! They are mostly done when the movie is not finally cut and ready, so they take what they have and put together a trailer or a teaser. This bothers me most!

Example:

1) Twilight trailer - The scene with Emmet saying "She's not one of us" . Where the heck is it in the movie? Yes, this scene didn't make it in the movie. Emmet was banned in the Deleted scenes..

2) New Moon trailer: The scene with Bella facing Laurent - running away and screaming "Jake - Run!" Completely out of the context right? Two scenes mixed together to make a decent trailer. I.Don't.Like.This!

Second thing: The intonations and the pauses in the dialogues. Here we have to same problem, scenes are taking without knowing if those are the final scenes in the movie.

Example:

1) Twilight Trailer: "What if I'm not the hero.....(dramatic pause!!!!) What if I'm the bad guy?" You know, I've seen this Trailer a million times and this two sentences are burned into my brain - with the dramatic pause. But in the movie it comes out differently, no pause.

2) New Moon trailer: The Birthday party scene : "It's time it's time.... and there is a cake too!" Where is the cake in the movie? Yes it's there on the table but Alice doesn't mention it.

Does that seem fussy? Yes maybe but it bothers me , a lot! It really does!

Next thing are all the pictures which are floating around in the internet. I remember when they filmed the Reunion Scene in Italy and people afterwards put the pictures together. Awww , too fucking much for me!

Don't even mention the pictures from the set: Which scene are they filming there - And damn it I hope they get it right!!

Don't care - I trust them! Seeing set pictures might confuse you and again: I.Don't.Want.This!!!

Those are all examples why I personally like it better staying Spoiler free and be a complete virgin when I see the holy movie the first time. I love it!

Actually, I doesn't bother me anymore, I got used to it. In the beginning it was hard to remain pure. When the first trailers came out it was hard staying in Twitter because nearly everyone tweeted about it. Now, I don't freaking care anymore!

Same for blogs with spoilers, I know that there are a some blogs which often post spoilers and I just visits them when I'm sure it's a spoiler free post.

You know what helps? The Google Reader! The blogger Dashboard is shit for us Spoiler Purists because it always shows a thumbnail of the pictures inside - too risky! The Google Reader is much better, you just see the titles of the blogs you follow and most of the times you get already from the title if it's a spoiler post or not.

Best thing ever are the blogs which love us Spoiler Denier so much that they put a Spoiler warning in the title of each post and use the "read more" function so that we don't accidentally see things we don't want to see. One perfect example is The Danger Magnet! Wonderful, thank you Annie from the bottom of my heart for doing this!

See? We can exist side by side.

How was it in the end for me?

Well, I saw one New Moon trailer in the beginning, which was before I announced my Spoiler Purist live. ( I wish I wouldn't have seen it either, but anyhoodle) The others I didn't see and really, believe me when I'm saying I looooved seeing the movie completely free of expectations!

It was pure and it was epic!

And yes it is different, although you know the blot by heart but seeing it all put together in a movie is something else!

You might still say: But girl, once you saw the movie you will probably see it 100 times again. You are right, but all I have then in my mind is the movie - the pure movie, not any pictures from the set or weird trailer scenes. Just the epic purenes of a movie...

With that I want to ask you now:

How was it for you Spoiler Bunnys - did it bothered you in the end that you knew nearly the complete movie before? Or don't you care at all and enjoyed New Moon no matter what you knew before?

My Twipuirist girlies: How was your first impression when you saw the movie the very first time without knowing anything? Was it worth it?

Mrs V speakes out about New Moon and TayTay!

Sweet little TayTay: First I have to apologize that I have been so mean to you in all my last posts, but please you are still under age (Are you? I dunno..) and I’m in and out Team Edward. But, you won a little piece of my heart in New Moon. Don’t grab too much, but yes I’ll give you a piece of my heart. You ask what the Heck happened? Ok let me tell you ….:

Yesterday I saw New Moon again. After my last post about KStew and Bella and all the lovely comments from you girls, I saw New Moon with a tiny different eye. I never expected soo many comments, thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I love you all and I enjoyed reading them.

Thank you : fragile little human, Stan, Stoney, Erikasbuddy, Snarkier than you, Honolulu Girl, Anonymous, Amy, Susi, Bella, Annie, uhyesplease, Anonymous, Spellbound, Smuttier Than You, TwiNabler and Alice.

But I digress; we wanted to talk about TayTay. Yes he surprised me with his passion for this role. In Twilight I really gave a shit about Jacob, Jacob who? I mean, this wig was horrible but they really didn’t do any better in New Moon, just saying. I went into the theater ready to not like Jacob and after I saw New Moon the first time all I had in my head was KStew with her wonderful performance and well Edward … Yesterday sweet little boy TayTay won that piece of my heart.

I was honestly a bit confused why he came to Bella’s school on her birthday, normally they are not real good friends at this part but when he gave Edward THIS look it was awesomeness and great! However, the wig is still ugly!

I really felt his joy when Bella came to see him, sweet! The scenes were they are working on the bikes were sweet and nice.

I won’t go into a detailed New Moon discussion I’ll rather focus on the scenes that are prominent in my mind.

What I liked most on the bike scene was not seeing his naked chest (under age, remember?!) it was rather his ability to bring a weird situation back to normal with a tiny joke and a smile. “How hard did you hit your head?” .

Really good was TayTay in the “break-up”, he performed this scene with such a passion and despair it was wonderful. Really great!!

Should I mention the scene when TayTay climbs or better jumps into Bella’s room? Awesome!

One of his best scenes (for me ) was in Emily’s house were he leaned cool on the door and waves his head to Bella to follow him! There, I totally forget this under age thing!!!

What I really liked is that Chris Weitz changed a bit the scene at Bella’s house when Alice comes back. I never liked that Jacob just went away without seeing that everything is fine after he realized that there is a Vampire. He didn’t do that in the book but I always thought Jacob would have to make sure Bella is safe. The kitchen scene and this almost kiss was wonderful and in that scene I really wanted them to kiss!!! Yes I’m still Team Edward but TayTay would have deserved this kiss. When he said in Quileute “Stay with me forever” it was all heartbreaking and sweet. The despair when he begged Bella to stay was perfect delivered!

Damn, and I felt so bad for him in the very last forest scene when he realized he will have never have a chance to get Bella back, that she will always choose Edward over him. I read people complaining that Bella said “ I love you” to him but I found this very appropriate to be honest. She does love him, not like a lover but she loves him more than anybody else apart from Edward.

And this Mr Weitz was simply genius!!:

TayTay: That is all why I love you now, you did a wonderful performance in New Moon and I wish you a happy ending from the bottom of my heart. But, be aware you will always be the dog for me because I know you want to take Bella away from Edward!

So girls, now it’s you. Were you surprised by TayTay’s performance? Did he also get a piece of your heart although you are all Team Edward? To all the Team Jacob peeps do you now love me now a bit more? ;)

My wonderful Twiancé and our New Moon weekend

MRSV: Oh Betti, I think we have to talk about our weekend right? I mean, we waited for this since months and drove everybody crazy in Twitter and here, so I think we should tell them a bit. May I start, may I start???

BETTI: No! I'm older. And taller. I will start.

MRSV: ?!?

BETTI: Aww.... just kidding!! *punches Mrs.V playfully* Go ahead!

MRSV: I really counted the days until THE Saturday arrived and I'll finally gonna meet my Twiancé Betti in flesh and bone and can actually hug her so tightly. Then it was time...

BETTI: *mimicking Alice* It's time. It's time!

MRSV: ...and I nervously drove to the airport and waited impatiently for her to show up. I hoped that I would recognize her immediately since she promised me to wear her red cap.

BETTI: Which I did!

MRSV: And then Betti came and yes, I recognized her immediately and, wanna know what she did? She dropped her bag and made a small dance! Yes this is Betti! *giggles* Then we just hugged tightly!

BETTI: Well, I told you I would perform a happy dance, right? *laughs* But maybe it was more of a... uhm... modern free dance, I don't know... anyway, I just... danced.

MRSV: I just freaked out because Betti is sooooo taaaallll and even wore those high heels and well, I stood beside her, tiny and with my Chucks…

Yes, I really wore that stuff ...

BETTI: … and your Cullen Baseball sweater! Sooo cute... fell in love in a split-second!

MRSV: However, I took her to my car and first thing we did was having a smoke.

BETTI: Uhh... I needed that badly. *cough*

MRSV: Yes, one of the things we really have in common - we smoke like hell.

BETTI: By the way, does anyone of you Twi-merch experts know whether there is such a thing like a Twilight ashtray? For a car? Just asking... because Mrs.V made me open the window and...

MRSV: Betti!!! I don't think this belongs...

BETTI: Ok, ok... *giggles*

MRSV: We went briefly to my workplace, and I showed her my Twioffice. Remember Betti? one can even see it from the outside: Look, 2^nd floor in the middle, there where the Rob posters are on the wall.

BETTI: Yes, there was one window screaming TWILIGHT! We went inside and Mrs.V introduced me to some of her co-workers and some stemm cells. Both species were very friendly. I felt a little uhm... scrutinized by that one handsome male co-worker who followed us to the lab, but it was ok. Oh, and I swear, one of the stemm cells waved at me through the mikroskope!! Fascinating...

MRSV: However, when we arrived at my place we figured out that we have another thing in common, we are addicted to coffee!

BETTI: Oh yeah...

MRSV: I didn’t know anyone who drinks as much coffee as I do, but this was before I found you!

BETTI: I didn't know anyone who makes such a good coffee before I found you, my dear! I was tempted to ask whether I may have it intravenous, you know, moving around with an IV bag, hanging from such a pole on wheels... *laughs*

MRSV: Oh yeah I would love having that too!! After one more smoke, and with another hot coffee in our hands, we started giving us presents! Squeeeeeee! Yes, we he had presents for each other!!! But this is your turn Betti, you unwrapped mine first, right? Which was a small one, but perfect for our weekend!

BETTI: Yes, I opened the small one first, and in there were two NM wristbands in red and white, that was so sweet!

MRSV: And I bought the same for me just in black.

BETTI: Yes, I put mine on, and Mrs.V and I waggled our wrists at each other and laughed and squeed like teenage girls!

MRSV: But then came my biggest surprise for her, something I knew she would never buy for herself *giggles*. And she really freaked out.

BETTI: I did!! I literally jumped off the couch and screamed... because it was a fucking Pocket Edward!!! I think I smooched him and pressed him to my boobs, I might even have licked him... I don't remember, because as soon as I saw him, a kind of frenzy began... and I stammered: 'Mine... you are mine... oh yeah... mine!'

MRSV: It was awesome! I’m beyond happy to see that she apparently loved my little present that much. OooOoOo now it’s my turn: and Betti came with a big beautiful red box! This was a bit scary. A.Big.Red.Box! Full of wonderments.

BETTI: Well, since it was the first time in years that someone had invited me to their place, and - I mean, it was my beloved Twiancé! - I had been so excited the weeks before, so I had started to collect little presents and just couldn't stop *laughs*, so in the end I actually needed that big box *shrugs*

MRSV: She brought me some of her music, which is wonderful because I always wanted to hear more of her stuff, including one CD with Bedtime Stories. *does a lill happy dance* and a poster from her band.

BETTI: Uhm... yes, it's a little awkward to make one's own stuff a present like this... but I just wanted you to have something personal of me. I'm so glad you liked it!

MRSV: Sure I did!! I mean I can always hear you when I listen to your music, that’s awesome! Then there was one more small box and my pulse quickened when I opened it, and inside were super sweet little buttons and……OOooOOooo a twigagement bracelet!!!! Squeeeee!!

BETTI: Woot! *claps hands*

MRSV: Now it was me freaking out, with a little “B” and “D” (this is me, Dani) and a crystal heart, aaaannnnddd Betti has the same, annnndd she made them all by herself which makes it even better...

BETTI: Oh God... breathe, Mrs.V!!! *laughs*

MRSV: Really, I freaked out about this wonderment, how sweet is that??!??! Since that day I wear it every day!

Isn't that super sweet?!!

BETTI: Awww... me too!

MRSV: As I promised my Twiance I would cook for her and since she was still suffering from her flu, I made something with tons of calories: Lasagna!! Homemade, for sure.

BETTI: Yes, and while you were cooking, I had a conniption and laughed my ass off alone in your living room, and you came peaking around the corner to see what was going on, remember? I had dressed my new Mini-E *cackles*

MRSV: Oh god this really cracked me up, I stood in the kitchen and heard suddenly I big laugh…

BETTI: Yeah, since I had to learn that I couldn't strip him... LOL, he looked like a Teletubby!!! Didn't you take a picture, Mrs.V?

MRSV: Sure! wait, here it is giggles Isn’t he sweet??

BETTI: Oh, yes... and then... whoaaaa, came the Lasagna!! Oh. My. God.

MRSV: I was so surprised, skinny Betti ate not just one portion, not two, she eat three!!!

BETTI: No idea what came over me...

MRSV: Hello?!?! Is there a better compliment for a cook than this?

BETTI: Certainly not! I didn't even like pasta before... but this was... nomnom... like... oh...

MRSV: And I’m not talking about the Belgium pralines afterwards.

BETTI: Well, it was just one family box of cream filled chocs. No big deal. And you ate one or two pieces too!

MRSV: Ok, after we calmed down and more coffee and more smokes we just talked, chatted and talked, oh yes and we watched Twilight again. This was obvious, hu?

BETTI: *mimicking Billy* ...actually came to visit your flatscreen! *giggles*

MRSV: It was so wonderful to see it with a true Twifriend, something else than just seeing it alone or with a “normal person”, right?

BETTI: I agree. Though we didn't really “watch” it, did we? Because we either spoke along with the movie dialogues or fell back into excited chatting and swooning... it was just lovely that the DVD was playing while we were there, together finally, right?

MRSV: Absolutely, finally I had someone with whom I could share all my thought about the movie, that was awesome! After more coffee and more smokes we finally went to bed and tried to get some sleep to be ready for the New Moon day! Squeeee!

BETTI: And MrsV generously granted me unrestricted access to her Holy Grail (i.e. her Macbook), which I found unbelievably sweet... so trusting... and... *sighs*

MRSV: *giggles* The next morning I made a coffee and tried to wake up Betti with a fresh coffee. Truly I never met one who sleeps deeper than Betti.

BETTI: Well, you know, I use to only sleep every second night, and this was my second, since I had been much to excited to sleep the night before we met, so...

MRSV: “Betti, coffee, wake up” - “Betti, we gonna see Ne Moon today” - *include some music* - “Betti, coffee is getting cold” - “We gonna miss New Moon if you won’t wake up”... 10 minutes!!!

BETTI: Well, yeah... uhm, sorry... *laughs* your couch was really very comfortable.

MRSV: Finally she managed and after some coffee and some smokes...

BETTI: ...which I took sitting in the open balcony door, wrapped up in the comforter, with Mini-E huddled to my bosom. Hey, that was the first time I was glad that I don't have a real cleavage, because that two-finger-space was perfect for Mini-E, you know? *laughs*

Yes, this was the New Moon morning, I think Mini-E felt quite well...

MRSV: ...we got dressed in our fan-shirts, and nervously drove into the city, ready for New Moon! God, we were both so excited!

MRSV: The theater was full of Teenies and yes, we raised the age average quite a bit.

BETTI: Well, actually it was just ME raising the age average. MrsV was the one lowering the average height *snicker*

MRSV: Ha-ha!! Really funny, Betti! Anyway... since we had skipped breakfast we had to buy some Popcorn, I mean what is a movie without it?

BETTI: I was well stuffed with insulin... and adrenaline...

MRSV: OooOooo, my goodness! I won’t give a New Moon review now because this would been hell too much. Just put it like this: I had water in my eyes nearly the whole movie.

BETTI: It was awesome. And MrsV was so brave... she didn't break my fingers during all the hand-holding and death-gripping we did, I was very thankful. We just, uhm... cuddled a lot. *smiles at the memory*

MRSV: I love Robward, I was positively surprised by TayTay and I was touched be KStew! Yes, you read this right! I love her in New Moon. But more on that later, this has to go into a separate post!

BETTI: I liked her too. I think Kristen actually made it to Face G, or even H in this movie. And she looked beautiful.

MRSV: Afterwards Betti and me found ourselves in a NewMoonComa, we were emotionally worn out, but it was heaven. We went for dinner and just talked and talked and talked about everything we have seen and loved, it was perfect!

BETTI: Just like it is supposed to be when you share such an event with a twifriend. It was a first for me, and I can't tell you how much I loved that!

MRSV: We managed to drive home, somehow, and chatted a bit with MrV, who was really lovely.

BETTI: Oh, he truly was! *giggles* First thing he said, after looking up and down at me: ”So... did you get a lot of phone numbers already here in Munich?” A little cheeky, but such a nice compliment, right? And he sat down with us and we got talking. He seemed to be really interested in everything, and kinda fascinated to see that, besides all the twimania, MrsV's twifriend is just an ordinary woman and not a total whacko *laughs*. No really, he's such a sweet guy... lucky MrsV!

MRSV: However, after he went to bed, Betti and me did what we did the whole weekend, coffee, smoke and chat.

BETTI: Yeah, and we got a little more close up and personal that night which was great. But I had felt like visiting someone I'd known for years from minute one anyway. *smiles lovingly at MrsV*

MRSV: sigh it was wonderful, getting to know my Twiancé better was wonderful! Next day it had to drive her to the airport, which was sad enough, but altogether we had a wonderful perfect weekend

BETTI: Absolutely! We shared one last tight hug in the parking lot. And I couldn't help but bend down to give her another Edwardly kiss on her hair, because I just so much loved to do that. Don't get me wrong, folks – NM and everything was awesome – but the part I internalized the most and took home with me to remind me that everything was real, is that: the feeling of MrsV's tiny shape against me and my nose in her hair... - oh noez, honey, don't... oh fuck... water in her eyes – again! *shakes head*

MRSV: And yes, I love you even more! Love you honey! I truly do!

BETTI: Love you too. Thanks for everything!

The Book vs. Movie Discussion Pt.4

Before we start I have to apologize for this cruel delay. We had to deal with some stuff, so there was no way to deliver this earlier. My beloved Twiance Betti was sick and still is, but this was just one part of the problem. I was the other one, I had tons of stuff to do at work and then I was out of town for some time. Anyway, please please forgive us and please read our last part of the Twilight vs. Book discussion! I love you all!

The "Book vs. Movie" Discussion (Pt.4)

There we are again fort he last part of the movie, and this will going to be pretty intense.

You brought a snack!

MrsV: Let’s begin wit the appearance of the Nomads’. I found it pretty cool how the showed up at the scene and stopped right in front of our Cullen’s.

Fanny: Yep, they looked like rockstars!

MrsV: Carlisle shows here the real patriarch. “This is my family”. But Victoria really rocked by saying “I’m the one with the wicked curve ball” and I love how Jasper answered “Oh I think we can handle that” – great! Then James recognized Bella as a human and said * You brought a snack” - I love that line! But it’s really awkward when now all the Cullen’s try to look threatening. I mean, in the book it is always described as something like a wild cat ready to fight, but for me it just looked awkward.

Fanny: Just what I thought! You know what? I think it's because of the costumes they're wearing. They're just not cool, they look like a bunch of schoolkids.These baseball outfits? And Emmett in violet velvet plushy whatever thing?

And Edward just crouches... somehow... while James does this A1 martial arts wide stance. Wow!

But I liked that all the Cullens built a frontline while Esme stays behind, protecting Bella – did you notice that? In fact, they were very thoughtfully choreographed. But the silly outfits ruined it.Anyway... I made a bird view diagram to show the Cullen fight formation.

MrsV: Anyway, Edward takes Bella to the car and they run away. Fine. But, really someone enlighten me please, why the heck does Bella says. “No is no one going after me anymore” I mean, this is somehow totally taken out of context. She doesn’t know what the problem is at the time she says this line… I find it really wired but maybe it is just my English.

Fanny: I didn't get that either.

To do what..??

MrsV: This is a scene where I cry every time I see it, the way Bella treated Charlie was so heartbreaking sad. He is so sweet and has no clue what is going on and she is so mean. I know she has to, but still… sniffles “ To do what? Watch Baseball on the flat screen? This is you, not me”

Fanny: Oh... and: 'Bella, I just got you back!' Charlie didn't say that in the book. But it broke my heart in the movie.

MrsV: I like however Edward jumping into the truck and how he says “Your father is gonna forgive you”.

Fanny: Yeah... that was cool. I was wondering about the brand of hairgel he uses. I mean, hey, full speed airstream and he climbes into the car and every single streak is in its place. Must be really great stuff.

MrsV: Then they meet Laurent at the Cullen house and we hear again something what was supposed to be a growl but here rather sound like a snake?

Fanny: I think it was supposed to be a hiss?

MrsV: What is totally missing was this sweetness dialogue: Laurent: “ is she worth it?” and Jasper afterwards whispers to Bella “ You are”. But they never really focused on the secondary characters.

When we are finally in the garage Edward asks Rose to help, bitchy Rose says “What is she to me?” Carlisle answers: “Bella belongs to Edward, she is part of the family now and we protect our family” swoon. Awesome!! Go Carlisle, put her in her place!! Love that!

Fanny: U-huh... I won't say anything about Rosalie's bum here. No, I won't...

MrsV:Alice takes Bella and after one final look into each other’s eyes, Edward says “You are my life now” Woot, thanks for this quote, and then they drive away…

Fanny: Oh, he looked so lost, there alone in the garage, when the cars have left.I actually like their farewell in the book more, when they said nothing but Edward hugged Bella fiercly and kissed her and woosh and gone!

MrsV: Here now is something I really really missed: In the book Alice is on the back seat with Bella holds her in her arms and Bella cries. In the movie, Alice is in front with Jasper but this was an important scene to show the depth of their friendship why did they change that?? I missed that!

Fanny: Oh, there's a lot missing about Bella's and Alice's friendship. In the book, Alice told Bella everything about how Vampires were made and such, that would have made an awesome scene, look:

But well... like you said, they didn't deal very carefully with the other characters.

MrsV: Woot, anyway, let’s go into the hotel and seeing Alice’s visions, which was fine just like they showed and also we got some Jasper, Yippee finally he was allowed to say something… The things really rush now and at the same time we see Edward, Emmet and Rose running to keep James away from Bella, suddenly he realizes his mistake and turns around. So far so good.

James calls Bella: In the book it was great, specially how Bella described James voice: Just like out of a exclusive car commercial, awesome. In the movie they shortened the dialogue quite a bit but what was really disturbing was the fact the as soon as Bella hung up, she directly went outside the hotel into a taxi.

Fanny: I actually liked the way they shortened that. I was eager to go to the ballet studio.

MrsV: Ok, I know you are dying to discuss this, but how could have Alice NOT seen that???

Fanny: Holy shit!! Yes!

MrsV: I think I read this discussion on many other blogs already but I’m still not sure. Bella took a decision, and directly went outside. I think it was even more confusing in the book, because there was a night between the call and then Bella’s escape at the airport. In the movie one could at least argue that there wasn’t enough time for Alice to see that. And she was busy keeping an eye on Jasper since there were both at the reception from the hotel surrounded by so many humans. In the book it made not so much sense for me.

Tell him, tell him to revenge you!!

MrsV: Anyway, Bella went to the Ballet studio and the fight begins. It was really well done I would say, especially that we GOT a fight and not just had an unconscious Bella how didn’t know what was going on. James hits Bella and so on and on, but the best was when Edward came through the window!!! Woot! Totally in rage and how sweet was his glance when he looked at Bella trying to apologize? You really see the apologize in his eyes, so freaking lovely!

Fanny: Oh my god... I press pause everytime I watch the dvd, just to look at his lovely face! *swoons*

MrsV: Bam, Boom, Crush!

Edward totally fury bits James (…uhm lool, I always see the shit cheese instead of James’ skin since I saw the “making off”. giggles) anyway, Carlisle comes to stop Edward: “Son, remember who you are” swoooon. Love Carlisle there! love him!

Alice is with Bella but Why the Fuck does Alice hold her bloody hand to her nose?

Fanny: Oh, I guess that was just instinctively... don't blame our loverly Alice!

MrsV: Naa, I won’t you know I love her too, but still… *shakes head *. Carlisle and Edward are taking care of Bella while Alice rips James head of – nice!

Fanny: Yeah! *pumps fist*

MrsV: I love how desperately in pain Edward seems. “It’s the venom” Carlisle tells Edward to suck I off.

Fanny: Oh, and when he shouted: “Carliiiisle!”

MrsV: “I won’t be able to stop” Godohgod, my pulse quickens!

Edward starts sucking out the venom and we see a flashback from Bella, and this together with Rob’s song “Let me sigh” makes this scene super intense and yes, - Hello WIME!!- I cry again!

Fanny: Me too... oh god! *clings to MrsV's arm in a death grip* This is almost too much... oh god...

MrsV: *holds Fanny tightly …. “find the will” Sorry I am rambling, but ..OooOooOO this scene!!

Fanny: OooOooooo....

MrsV: And I know that Betti cries when she hears this song as well, right?

Fanny: Like a baby!!! Everytime.! Psst... I secretly made a drawing of Betti when she watched the dvd last time *giggles* Look:

The guy in the background is her hubs *cackles*

MrsV: Ohh, Fanny you shouldn’t have ..done… this… Oh god what will Betti say when she sees that ??

So Edward found the will and Bella’s in the hospital. Don’t want to get into Renee right know and focus on Edward. I think this scene was pretty close to the book and I really loved how Kristen showed her fear about loosing Edward.

Fanny: Oh yes. Oh God, his face is so sincere when he speaks to her. Oh my sweet tortured Edward!

MrsV: “Where else …. “ sigh , followed by a super sweet kiss. I found the scene really lovely! Ohhgod, we are coming to the end.. I don’t want it to end…

Fanny: Neither do I! Oh Mrs,V – I love you so much and soon we'll have to part...

MrsV: What am I supposed you do when you are gone?? I will miss you sooo freaking much, you have no clue how much I love you … wipes away a tear

“You look perfect!”

Fanny: Oh, just “Perfect.”

MrsV: Upps, Ok but: Well, I have to disagree! Where the fuck did they found this dress???

Fanny: Uhm, she said, Alice lend it to her...

MrsV: Not to mention the jacket she had. Oh wait, yes the jacket they might have found deep down in some grandma’s closet. Really, the leggings and the chucks were Kristen-like, not Bella! I might be OK with this but the dress and the jacket are a no-go! But how sweet was Edward looking so lovely at Bella when he says “Perfect” swooooon And giggles Charlie again: “I put a new pepper spray in your bag” … Hmm.. When talking about Charlie and Pepper Spray… this reminds me of something from the last discussion …

Prom…*sigh* The End

Fanny: Ohgodohgodohgod...

MrsV: Jacob at the Prom, yes he also was at the prom in the book, but there he danced with Bella, I’m fine with that. He delivered the lines he had to say and went. What I really missed was that none of the Cullen’s have been at the Prom! Why??? Why did they change that?

Fanny: Pffff... why did they leave out Jasper's special skills, why did they leave out half of Bella's and Alice's friendship, why did they... fuck! They just were not so much into the supporting characters.

MrsV:I always pictured this scene in my head: Jasper dancing with Alice and Rose dancing with Em all looking wonderful in beautiful dresses. Why!??!! I’m mad!

Fanny: Uhh... calm down. We're almost done!

MrsV: Lalala, some dancing and smiling from the third characters and then swoon Bella and Edward dancing in the Pavilion. Which I found a perfect ending scenery, much better than just sitting somewhere. The final kiss was wonderful!

No more words to add. And with this final lovely kiss I want to end this discussion… which makes me unbelievable sad! But, we still have next week for some random stuff

Fanny: Mrs.V – I thank you so much for having me over. I swear, I had the time of my life!!!

Can I hug you one more time? OoooOOooooo... maybe I can come back some time???

MrsV: come Sweetheart *hugs Fanny tightly* , I had such a great time with you too. And for damn sure you have to come back!!! *wispers* maybe we do a NewMoon discussion ? This would be wonderful!!!
